V Simposio di Scultura - 5th Sculpture Symposium

V INTERNATIONAL SCUPTURE SYMPOSIUM –GIULIANOVA-ITALY
Deadline: 15th of April 2010
This International Stone Sculpture Symposium will take place
in Giulianova, in Teramo province, on the 5th of August 2010.

A total of 5 artists will be participating in
the – one day – symposium: from 8am to 6pm. The material to be used is limestone,Leccese. The
organization will provide each artist a block of stone: cm.37 x cm.29 x cm.51.
The theme will be unveil a month before the symposium.

The sculptures created in the frame of the symposium will remain in the possession of
the Parrish of San Peter. The accommodation and food for the participating
artists will be paid by the organization. Accommodation
(only for artist living more than 100 kilometres from Giulianova).

To each artist who has completed his work in the given time and place will be given a minimum of 200 to a maximum of 300 Euro, the remuneration depends, also, on the travelling expenses.

At the end of the day will be given two symbolic prices, nothing in money. One price is the Price for the Public, where al the local people will vote their favourite artist; and the other price is the Best Among the Sculptors, voted by the sculptors their self.

V SIMPOSIO INTERNAZIONALE DI SCULTURA - ITALIA

Questo simposio internazionale di scultura avrà luogo in
Giulianova, provincia di Teramo, il 5 di Agosto 2010. Un
totale di 5 artisti parteciperà al simposio che durerà un giorno: dalle 8:00 fino alle 18:00.
L’organizzazione fornirà ad ogni artista un blocco di pietra calcarea, Pietra Leccese.

Il tema sarà reso noto un mese prima del simposio.
Le sculture create durante il simposio rimarranno
proprietà della parrocchia di San Pietro.

Il vitto e l’alloggio per gli artisti
che partecipano saranno pagati dall'organizzazione.
L’alloggio (solo per gli artisti che vivono più di 100 chilometri da Giulianova).

Ogni artista che avrà completato la sua opera entro i termini del simposio riceverà un onorario che varia da un minimo di 200 Euro fino a un massimo di 300 Euro, la remunerazione è anche a titolo di rimborso spese per il viaggio.

Verranno assegnati due premi, non in denaro: uno sarà il Premio Pubblico che sarà votato dal pubblico osservatore, l'altro sarà il Migliore tra gli Scultori, che sarà votato dagli scultori partecipanti stessi.

Il simposio verrà riportato da diversi giornali regionali e notiziari web locali.
